Non-story - Flowers and eggplants
Hello dear folks,
Today I bring you a few photo’s, a little update on what’s been happening in Tinn. :)
I played the wedding again and it was a very happy ceremony. Only I didn’t bother to change the formals for everyone.
This is a very emotional moment for Katherine, it may be the second time her son gets married, but it still gives her a fluttering chest!
*hands handkerchief*
I did bother to give the bride a lovely dress. It is a test to see if this would be a decent wedding outfit. Also I was testing the necklace, hehe. The flowers look okay in this picture, but they are very off! They levitate in front of her forehead *laughs*
Rosemary (sister of the bride): I am amazed by your ability to keep those flowers in place! How do you do it?
Thalia: Meh. They look ridiculous.
Just like last time, all guests entertain themselves and socialize. This time I kept a close eye to this two. Looks like Martin started it! The little casanova!
(They didn’t do more than this, though.)
Err, I don’t know why I took this picture. Probably to show all guests having fun. Ooh, and see who you can spot in the corner…
Well, that was one wedding. On to the next!
Which happens to be Robyn and Frank’s, and for them I did bother to dress their families up. Karline (Frank’s mum) got a makeover as well. She now wears her hair under the widow hat.
When Summer starts in this family, the strawberries are ready to be picked. Frank has already gone off to marry and they must manage it with the three of them.
The harvest is good, most berries are tasty, with a few delicious highlights.
And then, when the fields are empty, the work starts again: ploughing, fertilizing, and all such things. This season they are going to grow eggplants, but they hope they can get enough fertilizer. All the soil they got from raking leaves last Autumn are used by now. But perhaps the other families still have some left?

Where did you get the “widow hat” that Karline is wearing? I love the wrinkles and freclkes, by the way; it gives her face so much character. :)

The ‘widow hat’ actually is the ‘work bonnet’ hair from Sussi. You can get it from the booty, under inactive sites -> Sussi. It’s the very last, called work bonnet, and it even has a picture too. I once had plans to recolour it, to have different hats and a not-so-shiny hair texture. It seems so silly so have every widow wear the same hat. But I don’t think I’ll ever get round to that, so much other things to do!
